Still reeling from the fact I've never noticed the De Koninck tap in Cafe Pleinzicht are there any other bars selling Belgian ales in (or very close to) the Wallen? I know and frequent the places further afield but I'm looking for somewhere for re-fueling between laps.

Cheers,

HC

Also my friend the red light bar serves koninck right up until 3am! Great for me. Not as nice as cafe PZ but does the trick ;-)

Yes, Gollem has an excellent choice of beers, but it isn't really close to the RLD.

"In de Wildeman" is another one closer by.

You could also try "Het Elfde Gebod" (The 11th Commandment), it's at the beginning of the Zeedijk:

My three favorite belgian ales Duvel, WestMalle ttriple and Chimay blue can be had at the Green house on OVB, right in the Wallen. Combined with some Super silver haze the outdoor seating is a great place to people watch ED

I think most bars in Amsterdam sell Belgian beers, although some will only be bottled.
