While I was searching the internet for interesting things to do during my upcoming trip to your fair city...(That's how I found you guys)...I came across a cool site that I'd like to share...

There's a good chance many of you already are familiar with it, but for those who aren't:

It's a cool site with friendly people on it.
Definitely worth checking out...

So, for this first trip to Amsterdam...
I hope to have a few pints with new friends from BDA...
And I hope to share a few joints with new friends from AXXXTW.
And maybe...Vice' versa.

September 5th can't come fast enough...
( I'm not sure five days will be enough time...Might have to blow off Belgium)

Thanks for the link. When I'm next away I'll probably save much of the beer drinking for when I'm in Belgium, but the site seems like a useful resource if I get bored of the green!

The owner of the Amsterdam Pub Guide posted on another beer drinking site that he has a new address, http://www.europeanbeerguide.net/

He said that the old site will continue, but that only the new site will be updated. You can easily access and bookmark the "Amsterdam Pub Guide" from this address down on the left hand side. Plus there's a ton of info on other cities throughout Europe.

I notice that two of the recommended bars are just off Bloedstraat - Loosje & De Bekeerde Suster.

I always go the Irish bar just off there because they have Hoegaarden on tap. But might be tempted to walk 50 yards more if the beer is good!!

Anybody been to either of these bars?
