I will be travelling through Heathrow in a month on business so I planned a 2 day stop so I can flip over to Amsterdam. I only want to take a small bag from Heathrow to Amsterdam and not my big suitcase. Is there a place in Heathrow (lockers or a luggage room) that I can leave my big suit case for 2 days?

Thanks for the help, BUTTHEAD

I saw a sign the other day at Heathrow on some circle ramp outside terminal 4 that said they offer free luggage holding service for short term.

Look for the company called "Left Lugage", They are situated in every terminal at Heathrow and charge £5.00 per day.

Just speaking for tips on Heathrow....

I will be connecting there in a few weeks to go to Dubai from Canada. I just want to know what to expect. The news and tips that we are getting here in the papers and from Tranportation Canada are absolute shite and conflicting. Can I bring carryon? Can I not? Or is it just restricted to gels, liquids and such?

Current rules for flights departing UK airports here http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/4789593.stm.

Basically carry-on is OK except for flights to the US where you can only take stuff you buy in the airport. Size of bags is less than before and liquids are a no-no. I understand that security for flights departing NL to UK are the same as before.
