I have heard they are different to your everyday massage? nudge nudge, wink wink.

Real thai massage - delivered by man or woman - consists of a lot of pulling, stretching and otherwise contorting your body in ways which make you expect to lose a limb or two before the end of the session. Masseuse and victim are dressed in light, loose clothing. Relief for the victim comes when the massage ends without actually loosing any limbs.

Thai massage as usually discussed in these pages is a milder form of the above delivered by women (at least they are now) whilst both parties are naked. Relief for the victim comes shortly before the end.

I recommend both experiences.
