Amsterdam Weekend Approaching - 25/08/06

Anybody going to amsterdam this weekend, it appears that everywhere is booked up and the flights have gone really expensive like £200+ flying with KLM, I guess it is Bank Holiday weekend, I managed to get tickets and hotel :)

Ive been to Amsterdam before and have done quite a bit, includes smoking weed, going down the Red Light District, hanging out in coffee shops etc, but haven't been to any good night clubs or lounge's where you can go and buy a few beers and relax or of course party till 5am.

Ive seen a club called Sinner's which is in the Liedsplien Square but it looks like its tickets only, also am i right in saying that the supper club is 5 mins away from Dam Square ?, Where is the best place to party ? for British tourist's (Not Gay Bar's) :). Also ive noticed there are lots of small little pub's that look like houses are these any good and what prices would a good beer cost ?
