hi guys,
I'll be in amsterdam by two weeks, and I booked a single room for two days ( good deal 70 euros www.bookings.nl ) at Old Quartier hotel, very close to RDL.
any feedbacks or suggestions?
Is it possibile to get a look at the RDL from the hotel rooms ?

thanks in advance for all your feedbacks and suggestions

by using the search facility here on the site you can find a ton of information regarding the old quarter hotel. it has been reported about numerous times, many times within recent months.

main thing is that when you enter your search criteria make sure you spell 'quarter' correctly otherwise you will not find most of the info.

doog!

Have found the friendliness of staff in the old quarter can vary between staff... one or two appear to not want to be there most of the time! Some of the cheap single basic rooms are a bit poor, but good value all the same - room 4 for example ahs had a dripping tap for a year now and they keep putting me in that room and keep assuring me the tap will be fixed by morning and it never is! Not that that really bothers me... just why make promises when they have no intention of honouring them...?
Personally i prefer the old nickel, sister hotel to the old quarter just up the road.
