Whats so bad about easyCruise?

I noted the news item titled "easyCruise Comes to Amsterdam" where easy cruise is called a "ghastly low-cost scheme."

Are they really that bad? Seems like it might be kind of fun to steam into port around 1 pm, explore a city, and then get back on the boat late at night and it's off to the next city.

Sometimes I read news stories about mini-epidemics breaking out on a vacation liner. That's something I'd like to avoid for sure.

Anyone taken one of these easyCruise deals? The price seems right.
