some reviews of "Closed Curtain Lives" here from amazon.com:

my general feeling with these kinds of books is that you get excited that they'll tell you something new...then you are disappointed that not only do you know more than the authors, but their observations are not only not insightful, but just plain dull. again, just a gut feeling, but I bet these books are like a drop in the ocean compared to the collective knowledge and experience in this forum.

i recently bought closed curtain off amazon for 7 dollars(book+shipping). its a pretty good read, but it does leave out alot of what you would want more of. the book does give a couple tips and secrets about the rld. it touches base on just about every aspect of prostitutes, coffeeshops, rld streethustlers, gambling, police, etc. the book peaks out talking about de wallen girls then squeezes in all the other details by cutting them short. a 150p book that should have been 200-250pg. i would recommend as a last resort for someone who didn't get a chance to jump on axxxtw before they left for the dam, seeing how it can be easily read in two hours
