For our European micer friends who may not have had the opportunity to visit America, or San Francisco...:)
This clip is the cable car ride from Powell and Market to Fisherman's Wharf; supposedly one of the more scenic cable car rides in SF. You get to see the guys turning the car around on a revolving platform before boarding. It basically goes through Union Square in the beginning, skirts the edges of Chinatown, goes by the top of Lombard ( nice view of Coit Tower there!) and down in a reverse Rice-A-Roni fashion to the Wharf - and watch that crazy bicyle at the end - is it even a "BI"cycle?
I was lucky enough to sit in the very front seat of the cable car, and shoot it facing forwards - still the old analog camcorder, though. That camcorder is history now.. :)
