In the case of #'s 1-10-11 they have to be real stupid to even set foot in these locations. All 3 have become war zones in recent years. State Department is right when warning Americans about these places.

Well in Mexico they arrest you because "you are American". Then you have to pay them off to get released. London,Dublin,Madrid.. These must be real idiots to get locked up in these places. They probably deserved it.

Interesting thread. What's the source?

IMO, Mexico City was the craziest place on earth,,,and.... one of the most intriguing! Watch the movie "Man on Fire" with Denzel Washington to get a feel for this topic.

My angle is to tell people I'm from Canada:-)

I see Bruggen, Kaarst and Hennef are not on the list.
I feel safer already.

1. the police in Amsterdam don't actually arrest anyone as far as I can tell

2. most Americans have already been arrested by their own government (over 2+ million in jail)

did you really expect to see a city in the Netherlands on the list?

With London, a good percentage is firearms offenses, stepping off the plane with a spare bullet or even a gun, despite the increased airport security. The rest is just drugs, getting cought with a local supplier.

There are some more serious violent offences, (Guys sent over on a job etc) but these are a small minority.
