In writing my post below, it struck me in talking about youngsters ........I've got on in years.

I'm curious - how old are you guys and how many are single?

To get the ball rolling - I'm happily married in my mid 40's ...........

Just out of curiosity, would you still be happily married if your wife was the one posting on this forum and you were in her position and just found out about her extra curiculative activities? I am not passing judgement on you, I am just curious about your answer. No offense intended.

Hey Clyde - no offense taken - the answer is a very obvious NO - she would not be happy - actually, that's an understatement!

So, is it worth the risk? No.

Why do I do it?

I'm weak - I have no other answer - sorry.

I've tried rationalising that at least it's a commercial arangement and that's better than having an affair - but I know that's cr*p...........

I'm 42 and just separated, in the process of getting divorced. I have to say that going to the Dam was part of my separating from the wife (we'd been married 14 years). I've been to the RLD a few times over the past few years and I realize now that going there was a big sign that I needed to get out of the marriage. Weird thing is that she never asked what I was doing there. I don't think she would've minded what I was doing as long as we stayed together, but this was not in the script.

52 and single and plan to stay that way.I never had to answer to anyone nor have anyone answer to me.

I'm 25 & single, but with several ongoing "works in progress", but they're not the sort to stop me going to the Dam, they know I go there all the time & are cool with it! But I may not bother with them if I can sort out my move to The Netherlands!
