As much as I would like to see the Euro at .87 USD again I don't think everyone will be that happy.

I sure miss the 2000-2002 exchange rates.
Spending plans coming out of Washington are surely going to lead to rampant inflation and devaluation of the Dollar.
It is hard to imagine that the Euro is even worse off, but it seems to be true.

Thanks for this interesting article! I'm in Amsterdam this May, and would be fucking happy to see my currency have some strength to it. Hell, I'd be happy to get .90 Euro to a Dollar. It's been bad for years now.

That article seems like "whistling past the graveyard" to me.

The known risks to the Euro, and their magnitude, are no greater than the known risks to the US Dollar.

True, it may be the Euro which declines against the Dollar. But it also might be the other way round.

Now that George has been hurled off the Message Board, there is no way to know what will happen in the future, LQTM.
