I've been to their first place a few times. But since it is across the county line and into a county where police aren't as friendly...both county and local. It's better to just enjoy one or two and leave.

The head brewmaster/owner at Brugge helped open Broad Ripple Brewpub and then went on to work at / run several around the world. He came back home to Indianapolis to raise his children and opened Brugge. His Tripple de Ripple is fantastic. Not long ago he bought a close brewery and has shifted a lot of his production to it. He still uses the brewing tanks at the brewpub for competition beers and experimenting.

...and the bar's "color" is orange. Not because Ted (owner) is Dutch, but the owner (and some of the investors) all went to the local high school and the school color is orange.
