Personally, my new year resolutions have totally gone down the shitter. They were genuine resolutions only for when I'm in the UK, when I'm on holidays anything could happen. Here's what they were (no-one laugh at these):
(1) Give up weed;
(2) Give up smoking;
(3) Stop drinking alcohol;
(4) Give up chips (french fries to those in the USA);
(5) Give up gambling.
To be fair though, I'd say I do at least 3 from 5 of those things every day, so I was asking a lot of myself to give them all up. So next year I plan on aiming for 1 of the 5, and doing a different one each year, so in 5 years I should have given all 5 up. Fact is though, I know over the 48 hour space of 1st & 2nd January, I did all 5 of those things!! ha ha!!
Suppose this years resolution should've been to build some will-power, cos at this rate, I'll be a weed smoking......alcohol drinking......chip eating.....money gambling mother fucker for the rest of my life! :-)
