While I was browsing the site the other day and thinking of when I might next escape the excitement-free open-air prison that is the UK (hint: not happening for a long time, though this summer looks promising for socialising thank God), it suddenly struck me that I've always mongered via a formal organised sex industry. My formative P4P experiences were Amsterdam's RLD and then Edinburgh's sauna industry, and that seems to be the model I've stuck with ever since. I find it very secure and reassuring I guess, but I've always enjoyed reading the punter's field reports where the situation was a bit more informal and/or ambiguous. I suspect the tension between soft/informal sex work and the regular thing boils down to the eroticism of knowing you're definitely going to get laid (those last few steps as you trot up to the door/window of the building housing the SP/s you're going to enjoy seeing always get my pulse racing) vs the novelty factor of the unexpected, which is such an important thing for people's sex lives. I'm still a bit jealous of the guys whose life experience includes getting all their questions about what some maid/secretary/hairdresser/insert female acquaintance here looks like naked answered; and even more of anyone who's gotten unexpected GFE-lite experiences from non- or semi-pros, the lucky bastards.

The closest (not very...)
