Not one that will impact on the average tourist, however just to report that coffeeshop Scylas on Churchilllaan has been closed by the authorities. The shop, formally known as Goed Goed, had been the scene of two shooting incidents and a kidnapping. The volley of shots fired into the windows late at night a few weeks back seem to have been the last straw. Time has been called for good by the gemeente.

Well, to be fair, no-one wants to get shot, so if that's what's happened there, even though it's sad to lose another coffeeshop, it sounds like it's not a big loss.
