My Girlfriend and I (in our mid 20s) are visiting Amsterdam this weekend for the first time.

We have read about Fata-Morgana and it sounds interesting. Are there many young couples that go there? What is the best day to go? It looks like Sunday is the best day for couples to go?

Any other reccomendations?

We are first time too, but from my research Saturday seems better.. Sunday's are mostly relaxed matured crowd... Hopefully see you there :)

Fata morgana is couples only, no single men... Single girls allowed though, thoughtful aren't they ;)

Yes we did! Saturday we fantastic! Amazing place, we both enjoyed it so much, and really surprised for ourselves this being the first time doing anything like this... The only experience was my wife kissing and touching another girl in a London club!

I'll write a detailed review, but in short Saturday is perfect for younger couples, and Sundays for wiser people :)

The food was great too! The garden was open on Sunday, lots of space, sun lounges, and a slightly covered play area in the garden, fantastic setting. I wish it was open on Saturday..

Looking forward to your trip report. I’m considering FM or Sameplace for the gf and I later this summer. Definitely looking for more detailed reviews since the busy times seem to be overlapping nights.
