when i used to visit amsterdam back in the days, it was mainly for the peepshows.
the girls were always extremely hot, and they had quite a few to choose from.
this was -96, -98 and -00.

i returned last week 28-31 dec and Sex Palace was the only place i found.
to my great disapointment the y had only 5 girls, and none of them was more than a 3 on a 1-10 scale.
so i went straight for window girls instead which suited me fine.
however, it's sad to see that the peepshow concept is totally dead.

I agree that it's a sad thing that peep shows, at least in Amsterdam, are dying out. On my last trip to AMS in December, the girls at Sex Palace spent most of the time either trying to persuade customers to come with them somewhere (I couldn't work out where) or shouting at them for one reason or another. All very unsexy!

I haven't been to the dam in about 15 years but loved the peepshows.
They were the warm up before hitting the windows and very much part of the whole experience.

I have been going to Amsterdam for 25 years and only ever found 3 peep shows, there was one in the City centre and two in the RLD.

Only one in the RLD has survived think its called Sexy Palace.

there was one on nieuwendijk, next door to where the mcdonalds still stands. from memory it closed about 5 years ago now and since became a clothes shop. shame because it was really quite luxurious compared to sex palace or sexyland. a friend and i used to refer to it as the 'posh wank booths'.

The only thing in the singel that I can think of is the gay cinema just south of Anyday on Spuistraat. While you might find interesting company there, I doubt you will find any girls.

How about B-1 cinema. I haven't been in years, but it might fit the bill.

I remember the days when the peep shows had private cabins with windows that had large gaps allowing full contact between the girls and their clients. Obviously, these facilities were abused by many men and was not very popular with the girls and were soon replaced by 100% panes.

Sexyland is still there but no private cabins or rotating show of solo girl or live sex. The lower floor is a sex shop and upstairs are still the video cabines.

In fact, I quite like the video cabines, it is quite cool to see the amazing videos. For one, there is a vast array of controls, like an aircraft cockpit! Usually, you can progress through about 30 DVDs and on each number, switch between A, B, C and D. I have also seen a little joystick, I'm not exactly sure how to select videos with this though.
I think they are more useful for warmup than the live booths.

Last time I was in a video cabine, the guy next door kept knocking on the door. I noticed there was a hatch in the wall - presumably some kind of glory hole type hatch. No way was I opening the door. I thought of telling him to F off but decided to leave it and he went away!
