I posted a message on the Amsterdam notice board with specific details of what I need entitled "UK touring escort", Please read it. I have not had much joy in finding an apartment to work from and I was wondering if Rotterdam would be a suitable alternative. I have never explored Rotterdam I know very little about it but understand it is Holland' Number 2 city. can anybody help? inline image

If this isn't as I suspect an attempt at advertising, it seems a REALLY bad idea to me.

Turning a short stay appartment (which are easy to find in Amsterdam) into a temporary 'brothel,' is going to be against their terms and conditions. If you were successful, in attracting clients, the neighbours are not going to like it. and you risk the police being called.

plus although it's legal for EU citizen to be a sex worker in the Netherlands, there are still paperwork requirements otherwise you are working illegally. i do not believe there is an exemption for such a short time. though someone may advise otherwise?? personally though, on this point, i would seek professional advice from the various prostitution agencies***

then there is attracting the clients, unless you know Dutch and where to advertise that's not going to be easy. there's a common independent website, but other than that it's registering with an escort agency which must have a license otherwise it's illegal. i believe they lean to what is called outcalls. which sounds a much better idea.

Are you allowed to work as a sex worker in the Netherlands?
Since 1 May 2007, after a number of Eastern European countries joined, the European Union (EU) has a total of 27 Member States.
Everybody from these countries may work as a sex worker. As an EU citizen from outside the Netherlands, you need an E-stamp, a type of work permit. You can apply for it at the town hall of the town where you are going to live and where you have yourself registered. If you have decided that you want to live in the Netherlands permanently, you must, apart from being registered at a fixed address, be able to prove that you have a regular income and can provide for yourself.
Romanians and Bulgarians are not allowed to work as self-employed sex workers. They may only work in employment, so they must have a work permit. They should apply for a temporary residency permit at the Netherlands' embassy in their own country; without this permit they are not allowed to work as a sex worker in the Netherland
