Lads and Ladettes,

I'm planning a trip to Den haag in 1 month, does anybody know of any cheap hotels that I can book when I get there.
I just need to know some prices as my last couple of trips were a long time ago and I assume there must be a lot of changes.
The last time I stayed at some four star hotel and as good as it was, I would have been happier staying in a cheaper hotel and spending my money on the main reason everybody goes to Den Haag.

Yep, I was thinking of that but do you know any cheap hotels near HS Den Haag? there use to be a hotel on the road directly outside the station. Do you know if it is still there?

I stayed there a long time ago when 'backpacking', so OK when sleeping in a dorm, but for a single room it would work out no cheaper than a hotel. It is a good location for the RLD though. I'd recommend looking on http://www.booking.com for hotel prices and reviews. There are a few of similar quality to the Ibis, but cheaper.

Good stuff. It you get decent weather it's worth taking the tram to Scheveningen for a mosey around; and Leiden has an attractive city centre to photograph IMO.
