Went for a browse through the Haarlem RLD about 6 weeks ago. It was a rainy mid-day.
ONE girl working.
She was attractive and eager though :)

I'm visiting Haarlem next month, so thought I'd bump this thread. I understand that it costs two euros to enter the RLD? It is too quiet during the day to even bother with?

If that is true they can stick their fucking RLD up their fucking asses. Wankers. Seriously. WTF are they thinking?

I don't think that it is for all of it, just the bit mentioned on George's guide. I agree that I wouldn't pay an entrance fee to a window brothel area either. What I'd like to know is whether anyone knows the going rates in Haarlem.

Thinking of popping here for first time visit end of next month. Looking at the prices it's pending which girls you pick some start at €25-30 while others it's normal €50. just doing a bit more researching to find out of some girls work day times weekdays shifts as be pointless going and no one working.
I have put two girls on my list that not on the private bit ( €2 fee got the most windows 20 and seems to have rest area, maybe a bar? so that why the fee).
Bauhaus if your going before me could you give me a update would be great help thanks

Bauhaus if your going before me could you give me a update would be great help thanks Sorry its €35 pending what girl. I'm going to go here on Monday 27th august lunch time/ afternoon. what's caught my eye is two coffeeshops one which sell good hash jelly and the other one good weed coffeeshop that's got a nice view and very close to the red light area. plus I can finally take a picture of a windmill. also what sold it to me was under 15 mins walk to it from the train station. was thinking of alkmaar or Utrecht but Haarlem sounds like my next trip.

Is 35e the standard going rate in Haarlem for each 15-20 minute session? Or is that the average?

I can't 100% say for sure but €35 sounds like most of the girls price but a few will do €50. hanging round with a Dutch lad and reading reviews I can understand they love the cheaper price and locals rather spend 25-35 max for 15-20 mins. But as we are tourist some might try to start at €50. Well 3 and half weeks I will be able to say more about this.

essexlad wrote: Bauhaus if your going before me could you give me a update would be great help thanks I'm afraid that I didn't go back in June as work got in the way of having a life. I'm going next month instead, but from having read reports in the 'Europe' forum I'm thnking maybe of heading to Eastern Europe instead next year. Visiting Holland for the first time in ages is just a way of touching base before heading further afield.
