Well folks,

I thought it best to do some type of daily diary to make sure I get all the details in. So I should have started yesterday but I was was knackered.

Monday:

Well I won't bore you too much with the travel, but it was a good journey with just your typicall easyjet delays. As you the seats are on a first come first serve basis, I plonked myself next to this Oriental bird,Oh boy 45 minutes of chating and footsie lol. I'm begining to love this already.

I get to Schipol Airport, and as I did not carry too much I did not have to wait for luggage, so it took me minutes to get through.

As I have'nt been to Holland for so long I was a bit green on where to find the kiosk to purchase a ticket but as usual the Dutch are so cool, feel free to ask... you can't go wrong! So on to Holland Spoor which may be a bit of a mistake, as Den Hague Central may be nearer not 100% sure though. To make a long story short I had to do some walking which is not bad if you dont have luggage but it was a good workout.

I finally arrive at Hotel La Ville which is not the closest Hotel to the Red Light Districts but is about 15mins away.

Well, as time is always a factor I decided to get to the main reason for being here, Doublenstraat and Gleenstraat (forgive my spelling).

After finding my barings, I found Doublenstraat and as mentioned by others, it has a lot of locals milling around plus police. Not sure what was happening but I saw at least two arrest and they were not joking about.

Anyway, after walking up and down the short road and popping a couple of the enclaves, I noticed the enclave at the end of the road nearest to the urinals and was a bit reluctant to go in there are I was told it mainly had older rough women.

PS: someone is hiding a secret lol. Well I found an absolute gem as you climb the stairs at the last enclave next to the urinals. some guys were talking to her but she was giving them half of her attention. yeah hotel I was in was close but still 10-15 min walk as they trying to keep it clean as the shops and parliament so they want it far asway from it.
