I'm planning to visit GT and taking the train to Roermond and then a taxi to GT but I'm not sure if I can take a taxi on the Netherlands side to GT. CAn anyone confirm if that is indeed the way? I'm assuming that if I can take a taxi to GT from Roermond, I can take a taxi from GT to back to Roermond train station. Am I assuming correctly?
Thanks!

Thanks! At that price, probably better off visiting YinYang instead and spending the additional on another lady!

Is Golden Time that much better than YinYang?

Planning my first trip to GT in the end of Jan. Unfortunately it will be on a weekend as I have read on a few reviews that it is super busy on the weekends. I will go by rental car as I see that most convenient.
Can any of the old gents confirm that?

Jimmmy - depends where you're travelling from but for me a rental car was best. I've driven it fron Amsterdam (120 miles, takes around 2 hours depending on how heavy your foot is!). I picked up the car at Schiphol around 1pm, route is pretty simple, I headed to Elmpt, near Bruggen where I'd found a very nice but cheap hotel, arrived around 3 & checked in, showered etc (though I needn't have bothered as I had another as soon as I got to GT). Drove to GoldenTime around 4 and stayed til closing, only around 6 miles back to Elmpt. Then a nice breakfast...drive back, return the car & head back into the RLD!
There are other threads about getting to GoldenTime (have a search), which will tell you about trains/taxis etc) but I think on balance I prefer not having to wait for trains, call cabs, hurry for last trains back etc.
Hope this helps, and have fun!

I agree that rental car is the easiest. The parking lot is usually full by 3, so expect to have to park on the street
There is a lot of some sort about a 100 yards past GT.. Once we got there and the parking lot was full so the Polish guy in the GT parking lot directed us to this lot to park.
