Shame, hopefully a good solution is found, quickly.

Any chance of a temporary relocation to AMS or elsewhere for the ladies???
What effect would a sudden influx of new working girls have on the Wallen??
Demand outstripping supply for day to day kamers, spiralling prices??

A lot of the girls prefer the quieter areas like Den Hagg/Utrecht , i think a lot of the girls would not want to work in Amsterdam .

I think that's most likely the case. I was just wondering about the impact on any of the RLDs.

Ive sadly updated the map below to reflect this closure. I wonder if the Hardenbollestraat RLD will see expansion and improvement in reaction to the end of the Zandpad?

The Zandpad got all the attention, but the 17 windows on the Hardebollenstraat belong to the same landlord and they had to close as well this week.

So besides a couple of clubs and prives there is not much left in Utrecht as far as adult entertainment goes.

It's still a really nice city on it's own though, well worth a normal touristic visit :)

Double ouch! Is there any chance someone could buy out the old real estate and start things up again? Surely it's worth more to the current landlord to sell than to not collect rent.

May be nice as a tourist place - but I was planning to visit next week for a bit of window shopping as well as the touristy stuff - rapid change of plans and hotel booking means Antwerp is getting my cash instead this time ................a shame because I have had some great times in Utrecht in the past.
