So it turns out I may have reason to travel to Enschede, a town on the far east border of the Netherlands right next to Germany. There is no red light district and there are no eros centers. There does seem to be some "clubs" which appear to be substandard brothels. It's 2 hours by train to Amsterdam, and the RLDs nearer are among some of the worst in the Netherlands. An hour or two south and into Germany by car is probably the best option. (Bernd's!)

Has anyone been in Enschede in the past year or two? Please tell me there is at least one good option in town! I can't be traveling 4 hours a day while there.

The last trip I took, I was going to stay at Haaksbergen for a night (but changed my mind). I had checked around and like you said, not many options. The only two place of interest that I saw were: Hausnummer 5 and Golden Dreams.

Hausnummer 5 is located in Nordhorn and appears to be a small 2-3 room brothel with a common room and 20 minute sessions for 50E. The best part of the operation is that their website shows the girl working and some of the girls looked pretty decent.

Golden Dreams is an FKK located in Schuttorf. I think most of the info I found is on hookers.nl and seems to cater mostly to Dutch clients. From reading, most people seemed pretty impressed (but not sure if this is because it is the only option). Entry 50E, 1/2 hr 50E, 1 hr 75E.

Those were about the only things I saw in the area but don't have any personal experience at either.

Thanks for those links. The first one shows something quite rare, a girl from the UK! Coming from the US that should solve any language problems...unless perhaps she's from the north! (kidding!) Anyway her name is Kate and she looks like a model. But who knows who will be working by the time I get there.

The second one looks somewhat interesting except all but one of the girls are Romanian, and my experience with them has been mixed at best. For an extra 50E one can stay all night! That's kind of interesting.
