Alkmaar on a Tuesday , too quiet ?

Is it worth going to Alkmaar on a non weekend night ? I can only make it on a Tues or Wed night

Never been there but last time I planned to go there on one of those nights. I am pretty sure that I would not have been disappointed.

Its not tourist traffic remember, so they are not relying on weekenders flying in.
