Sunday, March 16 – Alkmaar
I arrived at Schipol in Amsterdam around 5:30am, and slowly made my way by train to Alkmaar. I wanted to see if Alkmaar would be worth visiting in the future. It was raining when I arrived in Alkmaar, and I walked across the street from the train station to my hotel, the Stad en Land. I checked in about 10am, went to my room, took a nap, and then around 8pm walked down to the Achterdam.
It was cold, and I barely had warm enough clothes. As I strolled in and out of the passage ways, looking at the girls in the windows, I became dissappointed with the talent level, and after completing my first tour, was already thinking that I would leave first thing in the morning for NRW Germany.
I finally chose a young fairly cute blond girl named Gigi. She was fun, and the service ok. 35 Euros, which to me, is really a bargain. I then went back out in the cold, and took a walk around the old part of town. Even in the night time, I was in awe at how beautiful this town is.
I came back to the Achterdam, and did’nt really find anything too tempting. The curtains were closed on two of the windows that I had noted earlier. I finally settled on a girl that was in the kamer at address 39, #2. This kamer is set back from the street. She was fairly tall, with long black hair to her bum. Her name is Petra, and I believe she said she is from Hungary. She was very cute and fun, so I stayed for a second session. 150 Euros for probably an hour and a half.
I don’t know if Alkmaar was better years ago, but compared to the clubs in Germany this was not worth it. The number of hot looking girls was just too small, and if the curtain was closed, you would have to wait in the cold. So instead of my original plan of staying in Alkmaar two days, I boarded a train in the morning en route to Moenchengladbach, NRW, Germany.
I will comment though, that for travelers coming from far away, a visit to Alkmaar could be improved by staying at the Hotel te Laat, which is very close to the Achterdam, and by visiting in the summer when the weather is more favorable.
This trip report is continued under “Other Cities: World”.
