If Alkmaar closes, i am planning to go to Leeuwarden and Grogigon , i have looked on the search engine and have not got much joy , the questions i have are.

1/ Are both do able in a day ie is it worth going to one or the other in the afternoon if so which one first

2/Is Leeuwarden really violent and dodgy with marauding gangs in the r/l.

Hopefully there will still be windows in Alkmaar , as i said there is not that much info around , hopefully someone has done both in a day .

1. yes, they are only 30 minutes apart by train. The train may make that decision for you as the train split in half as it travels north - the front part goes to Groningen and the other half goes to Leeuwarden. You have to start listening after it goes past Amersfoot. For first time visitors, I would go to Leeuwarden first to study all the enclosed areas of the Weaze. Both Mickey and Minnie Mouse in Amsterdam were at Love N Joy for several months

2. no.

lol. as it happens i ended up going to both in one day but must of been on the wrong end of the train!!!! Didn't realise Leeuwarden was so reknowned. Would of visited if i'd of known. Instead i ended up there but jumped on the first train to Groningen. It was a nervous journey as i thought my ticket wouldn't cover me. However, managed to get away with and visited Groningen. To cut a possibly long journey short, just stick to main street in Groningen. Head straight when departing the station. Go past some fancy monuments and cross the road or subway. Can't remember. Head down the High Street and check out the information signs telling you what road is where. Basically, you have two long road in Groningen that cut across the main street. They're only about half and three quarters of a mile from the station although it can feel longer. Beautiful old style city and the RLDs are certainly worth a visit. I went in December and there was about 40 girls working out of about 50/60 windows. That's only a guesstimate but if anyone knows the exact figures please let us know. All sorts of girls. Older latinos, lots of eastern euros and one thai ladyboy. In my opinion if it was this good in December it must be brilliant during the Summer or early Autumn. Either way it's well worth seeing. You may of possibly gave me an idea to visit both in September.

Yeah, the first time that happened to me. I saw a lot of passengers running in opposite directions inside the train.

Next time, I parked myself in the second half of the train, thinking I would not have to move. Suddenly, I heard the announcement and I had to get out of the train so that I could run fast towards the first half of the train. It's very comical indeed.

The 6 foot German blonde from Hannover whom I met in Groningen was very memorable.

Then there were a lot of fondful memories at the Weaze in Leeuwarden as well.

Yessss, try them both in one day. You can doooooooo ittttt. Ha Ha...

Regards,
Fred

'you can do it in one day!' lol

funny you mention a six foot blonde. when i was in amsterdam i'd been noticing this city tall blonde with curves in all the right places sitting crossed legged in her window. decided the one year that i couldn't bare it anymore so paid her a visit. at the door she said she'd do doggy style. she looked like ulrika jonson. however, when i went upstairs with her and after getting a little suck she said she didn't do doggy only her on top as all of a sudden she started stroking really hard. that was it. game over. she said 'are you always so quick?' bitch! she scammed me. anyway, as you say two in one day. well sort of. i decided on the trusty south/central americans that are all over the netherlands. as soon as i left the germans kamer i felt robbed (one of only two bad experiences in netherland rlds). so i headed straight to the latin section. got hold of a milf and nailed her doggy style. think she actually did get nailed. either that or she was a great actor. i had pent up frustration from the german.

as for the train i don't understand that much dutch. yet anyway. so i'd sit on the front or the rear hear all the announcements, observe people running to and fro and still be taking a 50 50 chance on where to sit! why oh why doesn't the nintendo ds do a learn dutch game. they do spanish and german but no dutch. :(

Absolutely. I wrote up both cities after my last visit. I took two days to do it, but if you want to take a long single day you could. If you have the time, then relax! Take two days to see the cities.

Left Amersfoort in the morning and went to Leuuwarden first. From there I took the stop train to Groningen and got off in Zwaagwesteinde to wander around my mother's birth village. ....you don't need to stop there. I walked around the entire place and was back on the next train one hour later.

I arrived in Groningen later in the evening.

Most of my visit in Groningen was spent with THOUSANDS of germans! They like to travel to Groningen on Good Friday for some reason that I have yet to understand...

Leeuwarden had quite a few Eastern European women. Plus one very large breasted blonde that was very curvaceous... found her once but kept on looking...and then could never find her again.

When you are in Groningen I suggest you look for Judy. Very tall German woman that was recommended to me and will definitely visit again the next time I'm in Groningen.

If you do decide to take two days to see Leeuwarden and Groningen I would recommend spending the night in Groningen. Along the south side of the bigger of the two 'squares" is a multi floor / multi themed bar called the Drie Gezusters (I may have the spelling wrong) -- The Three Sisters. All of my cousins kept telling me that I had to go there and it was definitely a great time. Everything from a Rock bar to a Techno Bar to a mellow place to chill. Each part of the building and each floor is a different environment.

If you are into museums there is a nice one in Groningen.

In leeuwarden, I urge you to try Francesca, Love and Joy 102. Depending on her mood you can gets extras. Price is right too.

In Groningen, try wondergirl/Roosmarijn. She is not full service but French is without. http://www.escortsmart.com/bio-info.asp ... wondergirl

enjoy

"so i'd sit on the front or the rear hear all the announcements"

Or you can sit in the middle cabin and ask people which part of the train is going where. It's humorous!
