Went past Diana's this evening and it was very dark. Is it always that way?

Is the entrance not obvious?

It's been a few years since I last walked by. The darkness is no different than Utrecht Prive, a sister private house of Amersfoort Prive.

Went past there again last night.

Tried the door, and yes I tried both push and pull ... these d@mned dutch doors. Even tried pushing the button that looked like a doorbell. ...at Amersfoort Prive you have to ring the doorbell.

Nothing.

Did you call before and after? Unlike Amersfoort Prive, Diana Prive is a smaller place. They may not have a full time manager. In fact, there have been instances when I visited AP - one of the girls let me in and ask me to wait for the manager (before the marching band .....)

Are you too busy this time to hike up to Leeuwarden or Groningen?

@fred - I didn't call ahead. Normally when I have gone by Diana's it was when I was on my way back from somewhere. I don't have a cell phone with me...

Well, there's always next time. I usually have two phones with me so that I don't have to switch SIM cards.

Sim cards - my phone doesn't use one. I thought about getting a temporary cell phone, but in all of my trips I've never needed one. I can always find a pay-phone or if stuck in a bind I have been able to find someone who will let me use theirs.

Leeuwarden/Groningen - went there the last trip and loved both cities

I would not let you borrow my cell phone. :)
