I will be back in Maastricht next month and was hoping someone could confirm that shops in Maastricht are still allowing "foreign nationals". I am aware there has been some discussion and some things are still tied up in court but just wanted to make sure I can buy gear. If not it will be plan b and a quick trip to Sittard .

I read a post on the website "channels.nl" that the shops are open and will sell smoke to non-residents until the case is heard in November. Due to the economy, the volcano eruption, etc the Dutch Authorities are finally coming to understand pressing this issue much more will seriously impact the tourist trade in a negative way. Have fun in Maastrict, I plan to stay there during a trip to see the Belgium Grand Prix in August.

Thanks Gilby that is what I have been wanting to hear. BTW I will be spending a day or two down at the circuit at Francorchamps during my upcoming visit. Gonna catch the testing day for the 24 hour race.
