For those of you that like your artists as freaky as your women!

From February to May 2016, the NoordBrabant Museum hosts an exhibition of 20 of the 25 surviving works of Den Bosch's most famous son, Heronimus Bosch. While Columbus was discovering the New World in 1492, this guy was painting things so strange, so wild and perverse, that is a wonder he was not burned at the stake as a heretic. (It is a wonder that I have avoided a similar fate!)
About an hour by train from Amsterdam, Den Bosch is a charming city. The paintings, well, not so charming...
Images of sinners paying the price in grotesque and imaginative ways. The original surrealist, working in a style compared to Dali or Miro, but preceeding them by 500 years.

Enjoy, and if you stop in Easter Sunday, I will see you there!

Dank u well. Incredible artist. Wish the Hermitage Amsterdam featured that back in November instead of the tripe they hd on display. Bosch is mind-boggling; and who knows how many sci-fi paperback covers he inspired!
