Hello, We will be in AMS on the begining of December. We know that it will be freezing cold. What suggestions do you have for us? 1 - We have ski jackets as waterpdoof and Windproof, is it necessary to put on these not to be cold? 2 - If we want to go in a Window, the jackets and a lof of accesories like hats, gloves etc. will be a problem for us? 3 - If we want to go on a club ( like paradise or sameclub) in there we will be in suits and mini dress, also perhaps in underwear . What is the solution for not to be cold outside from hotel to club and club to hotel? 4 - And other suggestions about protect ourselves from cold? Thank you so much... :)

I go often in the winter. It's cheaper and less crowded. Christmastime is fun.
It can be bitter at times; windy with sleet. I'm from NYC, so the weather is similar.
Any warm-weather gear is fine; bring scarfs, warm hats, gloves.
Chill. It's a modern city, not the Himalayas.
Park 118 and some coffee shops had signs a few years ago to not wear hoodies or caps when entering. I guess there were issues with robberies. I did not see these signs on my last visit in January.

Quite honestly, I don't know. I'm an old fart. I only go to Park 118 and keep budget escorts in mind if something like that is needed. Haven'tnhit a "club" since I was one of the last mongers at Jan Bik, badly missed and badly underrated. (I think its replacement is four times the cost with the same level of service.)
Clubs are more than happy to answer emails, phone calls, texts . . . contact them for any info you may need.

Clubs, at least the ones you would dress up for, have cloakrooms with attendants.
Greenhoff, are you sure it was the ice? ;)

I know people that visited Amsterdam during Christmas time a few years ago and they told me that it was extremely cold. They ended up just staying inside chilling and barely saw any of the sights. Maybe it was just an unusually cold winter lol

Gloves, gloves, gloves. Nobody likes cold hands!
It doesn't snow much in December, but the wind is impressive. The rain will blow right up your nose. Long coats, hat/hood and thick scarves. I'm amazed at what the Dutch can make out of a long, thick scarf.
Walking on the wet cobblestones is bad, but biking is even worse. I bet I've been on my ass more times than Greenhoff....Thankfully, it was most often after the exchange of 50 Guilders, and not another embarassing bike wreck.
Good news is that rooms, bars and clubs are all used to the winter weather, and are kept very warm. Paradise has a big locker room. You will have no problem shedding the extra layers there. Same for Showboat. Sameplace is more of a bar, but there shouldn't be an issue hanging an overcoat.
My biggest issues with the winter are that it takes me 15 minutes to undress, and the girls don't want to spend time chatting at the window. As a result, I stick to longer sessions with known girls.
It is really pretty in the winter. There are no crowds, plenty of choices for places to stay or eat, and a generall calm that is completely lacking in the summer.

Hahaha, After having provoked a few screams, I've learned to warm my ice cold hands under hot running water from the sink; there's one in every room. ... Eric

Amsterdam is by the sea so can be very cold.If your planning window girls they can take tume out of your session for dressing. I went early January and was lucky to get home due to snow.
Good luck. There is a Light Festival on Dec in AMS, a good news came thankfully :)
