has anyone any experience of this bar please . when i visited 2 weeks ago, just my luck it was shut on mon/tues. is it just a bar, or are the ladyboys/ts actually there to "do business" ? do they have pvt rooms upstairs etc,or,. is it just a bar ? any help greatly appreciated.

Thai Ten is just a normal bar as far as I know, they've got some gorgeous waitresses though....;-)
If you're looking for ladyboys you should go to the Mekong bar, about 50-100 meters down the same street. Can't comment 1st hand since it's not really my thing, but from what I've heard some of them are working as well.

Bad news about Thai Ten. When I was in AMS last week the space it occupied on OZV was completely boarded up. Maybe it's being rebuilt but I didn't see any construction activity. Or any entrance thru the plywood where workers could come and go. The place looked abandonded. Anybody have info? Mekong River bar as still there, tho.

Walked by Thai Ten today, and yes, it's completely boarded up.

There was some official looking paper glued to one of the boards, a bit torn up, but from what I could still read it's been closed by city council because harddrugs were found on the premises on 2 separate occasions.
When or if it will be reopened has yet to be determined.
