travellers arriving in the city this weekend will be pleasantly surprised to see that the main hall of centraal station has been re-opened this morning for the first time in what seems about 4 years. whilst the centre front entrances are still out of use it is lovely to stroll through from side to side under the beautiful vaulted roof which has been hidden under building debris for so long. only another 5 years and i can ride the noord-zuid metro line home...

Great News! Is the big departures-board back in operation as well?

Excelliant! It has been about 4 yrs. 1st time in A'Dam was almost 4 yrs ago & they hadn't started yet from what I recall. Looking forward to seeing it again when I come back next week. 6 dayzz & counting....
