Years before Robocop, Basic Instinct or Total Recall, Paul Verhoeven made a movie about a prostitute in Amsterdam RLD in the 70's ...

I am curious about this movie, does anyone ever heard about ( or saw it ) ? It looks like interested, from a historical point of view ....

imdb.com information :

Wat zien ik (1971) - Directed by Paul Verhoeven

Blonde Greet (Ronnie Bierman) is an experienced, but kind hearted, prostitute in the Red Light District of Amsterdam. Her friend and also whore Nel (Sylvia de Leur) lives on the second floor of her house, and is explored and abused by her pimp. When Greet meets the married Piet, they feel a great attraction for each other, and Nel decides to find a boyfriend and become a straight woman. But life is not like a Hollywood movie in the streets of Amsterdam.

It's his debut movie - a comedy - very good too!

You can buy it on DVD under the English title "Business is Business" - The R1 US disc has Verhoeven commentary.
