Hi All

I know this is short notice, but it looks like my company will be sending me to Amsterdam for approx 4 weeks starting the end of next week.

Has anyone any suggestions where I can turn to seeking a short letting of a one bedroom apartment. I require a someplace near the city centre, clean, quiet, I am a non smoker and reasonable price

Try the Kras apartments great location. I stayed there 2 weeks last winter

try www.canalapts.com i stayed there this past May loved it. Just booked my June one with them.

Canal Apartments is a ripoff. Same people that did not return my security deposit a while back.

Got a visit from the building inspector while I was there regarding violations. I have some pics somewhere of the real run down condition of apartment "cabernet".

Quite a few people have been stiffed by them. Some have been left without any lodging.They weill claim that they are a totally different company from Canalwatch, well known for ripoffs, but they are not.

Fool me once shame on me, fool me twice, shame on you.

Are you sure that was with the new people that own it? When I was there a few months ago, the place was clean, the people that picked us up at schipol were on time, and after 3 weeks home, our security deposit was refunded without a problem. That's why we booked with them again.

I guess some will have issues with them, some will not.

Thanks for the help folks..I checked out the canal apt site, and they appear to only have 3 locations available while I will be in the city and the lowest price is just over €6000 for the 4 weeks...A bit over the top I think

But, I am still looking
