hi , have booked flights for next june for amsterdam. just been looking through various websites for hotels and they seem to be very high last weekend in june . any major events or anything going on that weekend . thanks in advance

I think its just because its "high season" time, june being summer and all maybe?

PRICELINE my friend.....Pick "City Centre" 5 star. Bid around 90-110. Got the Barbizon last year for $105 a night.

Priceline rules!! Amsterdam is a perfect city for using priceline. Never been disappointed in Amsterdam with PL. I've gotten Barbizon, NH centre, and Renaissance on PL. All have been around 50% off.
I'll be over in August, and you can bet I'll book my room on PL.
