Well, my trip thus far has turned out quite differently than I expected. I thought by now for sure I'd be on a first name basis with half the girls in De Wallen, but I've only wound up having a handful of sessions so far.
I wound up springing for an escort last night, very high end, and good lord, the difference in service is night and day. That woman fucked me into a completely different plane of existence, I literally have no desire to bother with the RLD anymore outside of maybe Max and a few other standouts at this point. This girl was so good, I already have another session booked with her again on Friday, and I've already spent 900 € on her. I honestly consider that the best money I have ever spent on sex.
I guess for me, the biggest issue with De Wallen is all the uncertainty. I walk around and I look at the girls and it's hard to pull the trigger because I always have doubts running through my head. Is this girl going to rip me off? Is she going to be any good? Is she going to do the things I want to do? Yeah, you can ask at the door, but the ripoff artists will always promise you the world at the door then deliver nothing. Even once you get inside, there are uncertainties. Where can I touch her? What can I ask her to do? If I do this, is she gonna get pissed at me?
And then there's the upsell. The upsell is what kills me. Here's the thing; I wouldn't mind the upsell if it was just presented reasonably as an option for an extra that had not been previously discussed with no malicious intent. I had a girl do that, asked for an extra 50 for 69/DATY, and I was ok with that because it's an extra, and we hadn't discussed it beforehand. Most of the time, that's not the case though. Most of the time, the upsell is not a choice, it's an ultimatum. You can decline, if you choose, but get ready for 5 minutes of robot sex before you're rushed out the door. Either way, once that ultimatum hits, you're getting screwed one way or another.
I really don't understand the mentality of the rip-off artists. I suppose they do adequate business making a quick buck off ignorant tourists every now and then, but to me, that seems short-sighted. Ok, you've gotten your 50 or 100 €, but that person is probably never coming back. You never know who you're scamming. Could be a tourist who was curious and was probably a one-timer anyway, could be a veteran who could've become a regular customer. The thing is, you're gonna get the one-timers regardless of whether you're good or not, but if you're lousy, you lose the regulars. Take Max, for example. I have seen her twice so far this trip. I will probably see her again. She is fantastic. I sought her out because people here recommended her. In turn, I will recommend her as well. Because she offers good service, she has made a repeat customer in me, and perhaps my recommendation will bring in some new regulars as well. You have to think she's putting away at least a couple thousand extra euros each month simply because of all good publicity she gets. The scam artists don't get this. Max shines not only because she's good, but because of how lousy a lot of the other options are.
There's a lot of money out there to be had simply by doing at least the bare minimum of what you should be doing, girls. A high tide raises all boats.
