wtf.. were people hurt?? or just scare shooting?

is it just me or is it a bit weird that as soon as there is a shooting the govt shuts the place down?

don't want to get all tin foil hat on ya'll, but that is mighty convenient. also, to FINALLY link the 6 shootings as potentially related incidents.......well done........top police work there.

I think it's the mayor just using the opportunity as an excuse to shut the place down. I don't think there's any kind of conspiracy, I think the mayor just wants to shut these places down and when he gets an excuse to do so, he does.

It's crazy to shut down a coffee shop because it was shot at. First, it's punishing the victim. Second, it becomes a force multiplier for the shooter. Whatever their motive in taking a shot at the (so far) closed shop, their gun has now become much more powerful. So the mayor has encouraged more shootings.

The mayor doesn't care. He gets what he wants so it doesn't matter to him that he's making things worse. Same deal as shutting down windows.

I'm afraid you're right. A curtain of repression seems to be falling over the west.
