I am in Amsterdam from about 9am till about 12, are there many windows open? Or any recommendations where to have some fun?

I am currently here and there are many empty windows. Kind of disappointed to say the least but I did have my fun. In the future I will have to shorten my stays in amsterdam as although I love the place, certain girls keep drawing me back and it is the best direct flight for me from canada into Europe.
