The plans for reopening the Netherlands have changed: Possibility of the girls being back before September?

Despite living in the Netherlands, I somehow missed the changes to the Dutch plans for reopening. The original plan is described in English here. But yesterday I heard from a Dutch friend that several things have been pulled forward from September to July, including casinos and saunas. I also confirmed this; I saw a notice on a casino saying (in Dutch) that they would be opening on 1st July. It was already known that the government are also trying to find a way to reopen sports clubs and gyms earlier than September. So as far as I can tell, sex providers will now be the only thing not possible until September (besides one off events like festivals, etc.). I know some privehuisen are already pushing to reopen earlier, so given how things have already been pulled forward, what do you think the chances are of girls being back before September? Given the current low numbers, I think reopening the privehuisen might not be a huge risk, where many of the clients are regulars. I'm still not sure reopening De Wallen would be wise, seeing as the girls there are likely seeing many more different guys who are tourists/not regulars. I'm still not counting on it though. I'm still not even counting on September to be honest, though that would be nice. Any thoughts on this?

I’ve been looking here for updates. https://www.government.nl/latest/news/2020/05/06/avoid-busy-places-and-stay-1.5-metres-away-from-othersAs I understand from my Dutch friends, the changes were announced by the government on TV, but I also just found this, which seems to confirm the changes. Unfortunately, the linked article also mentions that sex work is still not allowed until September 1st. :(

The link above was close. Here are the actual latest government links: https://www.government.nl/ministries/mi ... oronavirushttps://www.government.nl/latest/news/2 ... rom-othersFuture press conference reports will be listed here as they happen: https://www.government.nl/ministries/mi ... d-securityInterestingly Switerland has allowed sex clubs of all forms to open from 6th June, many are listed on the web as having already opened, others are planning to do so from a week or two later. Services will not be as before though, a detailed hygiene plan lays behind the decision, masks are involved, as is distancing. There will be no more "Kuchelsex", e.g. missionary is a no no, as is kissing, the clubs are also in a position to insist that clients shower first. There are rumours being made in the German media about "Bordelle" being reopened, but this is certainly not the case in Frankfurt. In Frankfurt and nearby for instance Oase is closed, Sharks also says it is closed, Palace says nothing. These decision will always be made by the individual German state (Land) e.g. Hessen, Nordrhein Westfalen, etc.

Thanks everyone for keeping us up to date! Does anyone know for sure if the Smart Shops are open? I've heard mixed rumors, but no one who has actually been by one to see. And if they're not open, are they on the July or September list for now? (I know everything is subject to change at any given moment.)
Thanks again!

I have visions of a full on Silkwood-esque assisted scrub down and a full body condom, perhaps two. Your pecker gets fed through a glory hole and serviced by god knows what. Sexy.....,NOT!

So..... I’m still booked to be in country for around a week commencing Friday 17th July. At this point, it doesn’t look like it will be cancelled, like my previous two trips. This would be my preference, with the only alternative being to probably wave goodbye to more than £1000. Yes, I have travel insurance that would likely reimburse me, 90% confidence. However...... I really need a break.
If I have to go, I’ll be Friday to Monday in Amsterdam then Monday to Friday in The Hague. Forget women, I already have enough phone numbers / promises from girls I know well. Amsterdam’s a little sketchy, but I’m in good hands once I’m in The Hague.
What I need to know is.... Where am I likely to be able to eat? I would have been frequenting Tempo Doeloe, Kantjil & de Tiger, Cafe de Klos, Bird et al. What is or is likely to be open? Will I be eating Albert Heijn sandwiches for a week?
Where will I be able to buy weed? How far out of the centre do I need to go for a buy and fly?
What, if anything, is or is likely to be open for distraction? Cinema’s, museums, etc. I’m too old to be fucking 24/7. I assume Albert Heijn will be my only option for beer/booze? I could buy a bottle or two in duty free.
I had planned to spend most of my time in AMS between coffeeshops & bars (Wildemann, Ardensnest, Cafe Belgique, etc.) and most of my time in The Hague holed up with two or three regulars. Oh well!
This feels like desperation, but If I’m forced to travel, I’m determined to make this work, unless it all get’s cancelled. Honestly, that would be a relief. I prefer a chilled Dutch experience.
So, am I being stooopid? Should I lean back on the insurance if it doesn’t get cancelled?

I'm not on the ground, but here's what I've heard.
Restaurants should be open, with reduced seating. So get reservations where you can.
Coffeeshops still will only be doing takeaway. No smoke in.
I think museums are also open by then, but on limited availability. Reservations required.
4 days might be a long time. I'd take the travel insurance and do something later in the year. I feel you on the cabin fever, but I canceled my usual summer trip.

Almost everything is open now, but capacity is limited and reservation is required. However, in practice it's possible in many places to just walk up and ask for "a reservation for now", and if they have space available, you can drink/eat there right away.

This is good news. With Google reporting my favourite privehuis as "Permanently Closed", and then hearing of Germany proposing a permanent ban on paid sex, I was feeling pretty low yesterday.
I just hope this won't turn out to be a shitty Switzerland style "reopening" with such severe restrictions that it ends up being pointless. Hopefully I can enjoy some quality time with one of my favourite girls next week!

It's still pretty vague right now; all they're saying is "We can reopen! More information to follow.". I'm still optimistic, but I have a bad feeling about that second part.
