Negative test before returning to the US

Its my understanding that a negative self test is sufficient proof for returning to the US. Can anyone verify if that is accurate.

Yes when flying to Amsterdam, no test or vaccine proof required. When I traveled back to USA a negative rapid test was required.

I’m in Amsterdam, heard nothing about an announcement... the nights are starting to return to normal in RLD with tons of people. Yesterday on a Thursday night it was pretty busy. It’s red for some countries in EU. But USA is still on there safe list. It’s up to you if you want to go. Covid test is 39euro for a rapid antigen results in 15 mins.

The Netherlands turned Red with over 11,000 cases in one day . Now as Americans we are still welcome but is it any fun . We were chatting with friends in Diemen . They say we are still welcome but it is changing daily . Don’t take us wrong , wife would go in the middle of a hurricane but what fun is it if nothing is open . We will go to Sameplace and Fat Morgannas . Visit a few choice bars a few restaurants and stumble around the streets . The people there are the fun.

Everything is busy with tons of people here visiting. Unless you like to go to clubs or stay out at bars past midnight nothing is different. I don’t think they are going to close anything.

Lost in Amsterdam for the milkshakes and Bulgarian girls. Belgium and Germany looks like they are flooding but might want to go to Brussels and Berlin yahoo
