Can anyone on the ground at the moment tell me if this thing is as ugly in real life as it looks in photos I have seen?

Haha saw that yesterday with a huge crowd around and tv stations filming. It does look pretty bad... like it’s made of plastic or something cheap and rubbery.

The huge crowd was surrounding Queen Maxima, who took the ceremonial first walk over the bridge.
No word on whether she followed the one-way signs, or whether she had a successful punt in the neighborhood.
She must have.
It would be rude to wander through the neighborhood and just look, right?

Loved sitting in stoof bar watching the girls.finished pint a few times and straight inside.

The problem with this bridge is that its out of place with its surroundings.The bridge is modern and the buildings are all old. They don't fit together.They should have built a bridge from materials similar to what was used for the housing.

Looks like an old star trek prop to me!
