Has anyone on this board ever been caught by Customs in the UK or Holland with gear on them and if so, what happened?

Why DJ has something happened? Or are you just being cautious? To answer your question yes, I was charged and convicted with section 3(1) of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 which is contrary to section 170(2) of the Customs and Excise Management Act 1979. The amount of gear I had was enough to send me on a two year holiday courtesy of her Majesty the queen. If you would like me to go ino more detail please bare with me until the end of the month, as I have my univesity exams going on right now.

YES and No =

Yes I have been caught and No I have not been caught. Make it through a few times but got caught 1 time. That was enough for me to stop trying. Always hash.

Yes leaving amsterdam for the US.
Smelled out by the dogs. (never wear your party cloths on the plane)
The agent pulled me aside and asked if I may have forgotten to remove any items before going through customs.
I asked what kind of items.
He explained what they were looking for.
He then said if I had any items to place them in the canister by the exam rooms.
I told him i would check and see if I had inadvertanly forgotten any thing.
I then made my deposit of 2 grams hash and a pipe. (pipe not allowed in the US.
He then performed a quick check of my bag and sent me on my way.
He was very pleasant and gave me an easy out. This would never have happened on the US side where there mean, nasty under paid pricks looking to fullfill there mission as Hard On Dicks!

Customs have stepped up their effort 2 fold in the last year. The agent told me they were responding to pressure by "Bush administration".
