Showboat and Hotel Huis te Zaanen

I will be going to Showboat this Thursday (and Friday if I like it) June 2nd. My dilemma is about where to stay. I made reservations at the Hotel Huis te Zaanen, which is one of the hotels recommended in the Showboat’s home page. However, I found out that this hotel is in Wormerveer which is a different town. Does anyone know the distance between Wormerveer and the Showboat? How much will it cost by taxi? Will it be better to stay in Amsterdam? Thanks, for the information.
