There is a large group of us going to Amsterdam in Oct. We need a pub to meet up in as we are all arriving seperatly.

Can anyone confirm that there is a pub called "THE BELL" fairly close to Rembrantplein? Think we went in there last trip and it was OK.

Also, in the same area is there a stripclub called "THE BLUE BELL"? don't want to get those mixed up. But has anyone taken wives / girlfriends in the stripclub and if so was it OK for them?

yes and yes. the Old Bell is on Rembrandtplein and the Blue Bell is on the adjacent Thorbeckeplein. never been to either personally.

Had a couple of jars in the Bell about three weeks ago on last trip.Didnt feel Dutch...British paraphernalia everywhere.Was a Sunday night...very quiet,and only Brits were in there.Probably wont be as quiet when you lot arrive tho ;) Its about a ten minute walk from there to the RLD.
