I have read the Bluebell (Thorbeckplien) is the best lapdance club - stunning women @50E a dance. Then La Vie En Proost popped up on the device. Then I read elsewhere La vie en rose was a covered area strip club but was a german style brothel. Then there is the Bannanen Bar -50E to get in and free drinks and girls that dance and perform (can it go further?). We are over soon and need to know the best place as we aint got long. If you guys on the device dont know what to recommend - no body does - please help two polite english gentlemen make up their minds!!!

There are no American style lap clubs like the sort plagueing London these days. Don't know the Thorbeckplein place, but La Vie en Proost is a strip bar where you can cop a feel. La Vie en Rose is next door and is an indoor extension of the RLD.

Ta for the advice - is the Bananen Bar any good or just a tourist trap.? There is lots floating around on the net - no where near as well informed as the device though! London is a dead loss - go in a peep show / dance bar and you risk serious exploitation in Soho - £5 to get in and £100's to get out or your face smashed in!!!!! Avois London Soho like the plauge!

I know London well. Never found any Soho style clip joints in Amsterdam.
Never went in the Banana bar, but it sounds like the kind of place you go to once but don't need to revisit. I found the Casa Rosso the same.

If you are into strippers, I liked the scene round Shoreditch. I had a yahoogroup dedicated to it, but they just deleted it after 6.5 years. There is also an active private party scene in London where you can get a bit more intimate with strippers and the odd well known porn model.

How much to get in La Vie En Proost ? - sounds better than Soho and I wont get threatened with violence. When are those Soho clip joints going to learn I would spend more with them if they gave me what I went in for than threaten us gentlemen with long schlongs??

Sounds like you've being going to the wrong places - I avoid Soho like the plague, since the best action has now moved further out. Next time, try a good guide like

No threats in the Dam people are pretty chill. They want your tourist dollars and are very supportive of us out of towners. If you have any trouble I would be very surprised.
