hey anyone stayed here before,seems like a good location damstraat i think i remeber this being the hotel next to new york pizza on damsraat but please feel free to correct me.

its a shocker and i for one certainly wouldnt recommend it. rooms the size of a postage stamp and so damned noisy that you may as well bed down on the street outside for the night.

I have to second withnail's assessment of this hotel. I stayed there once, the very tiniest of rooms, two people in the room and it is very close indeed. Once the all night revelers finally go to bed the delivery and garbage and street sweeper trucks arrive outside. Then the vacuum cleaners in the other rooms. I believe they have some rooms facing away from the street though. And the breakfast buffet is actually served in the pizza shop next door.

I hate Damstraat. I once turned down an executive upgrade at the Krasnapolsky becuase it was 1st floor off Damstraat. Managed to get switched to the mirrored Pepto porno room 510, where German Sandra came for an escort visit.

I stayed there a year ago in a single room. It was a very small, but it only cost 40 euro. I got exactly what I expected. I didn't think it was noisier than any other cheap centrally located hotel.Out of the 3 cheap hotels I've stayed in(Vijaja, Dam Hotel, Gerstekorrel), I'd rate the Gerstekorrel the best.

We have stayed there before and did not think it was that bad , A little pricey for what it is but not too bad

ahh i reckon it should be alright its just me and my younger brother im 23 hes 20 its his first trip but my sixth, were both heavy smokers and like a few beers so i reckon the noise at nights wont be a problem,i just cant wait to seem my bros face after his first vapo bag and when he realises whats on offer in the wallen.
