seen someone mention on this board during the week that this bar is shut. Can anyone who has been over recently confirm or deny this, heading over in august and this is a favourite spot of mine.

It was open and very busy on June 17th.

Its on the main canal oz ach well you know the rest the same side of the street as the old sailor bar a bit further down heading away from the old sailor near bloesstratt ect . You go up a set of stairs to get into it. the window seats in the bar overlook the canal. Its a good spot

It was rockin last night...no worries mate.

It's not a bad bar but a pint of strongbow cost's 4.50 euro's, a little pricey - try the Thai Ten Bar instead, much bigger glasses of beer and some real eye candy, re Stephanie the Barmaid.

Back in town on 30 Oct and cannot wait, keep my glass of Apfelkorn waiting.
