For the pleasure I may attempt a walk from the Central Area to the Paradise Club. I found such directions from mapquest.com, but their route takes one through the "IJ Tunnel" the tunnel being a distance of .9 miles. My question to anyone out there that might know: Is this truly the preferred walking route? Is there a more accurate route to the Paradise Club?

The tunnel route sounds a little precarious as I imagine it to be designed for automobiles only and not pedestrians...

the best way is to take the ferry on the rear side of the main railway station and then it is just few minutes walk...
